B-17: Queen of the Skies

England, 1942–43. You command a B-17 Flying Fortress and its crew of ten in a heavy bombardment group of the Eighth Air Force, flying daylight raids from an airfield in Cambridgeshire against U-boat pens, ports, rail yards and factories in occupied Europe and Germany. Two tours are offered: the winter and spring of 1942–43, and the summer and autumn of 1943, when the raids go deep into Germany and the defences grow fierce. Bring your pilot home from twenty-five credited missions, zone by zone to the target and back through fighters and flak.
